If you child is planning to tryout for Choctaw County cheerleading (junior high OR high school), there is a MANDATORY parent/guardian meeting on February 6th at 6:00pm in the CCHS cafeteria! This meeting is required for your child to try out, if there is a conflict please reach out to Katelyn Jones or Lawana Woodard to make other arrangements. (Tryout packets will be given out at this meeting)
🏀 Update on Mid MS 🏀
The Dollar General Literacy Foundation (DGLF) awarded more than $4 million to support 730+ schools, libraries and nonprofit organizations in the communities that Dollar General calls home. The recipients plan to use the funds to purchase books, technology, equipment or materials to help extend a brighter future for K-12 students. The Choctaw County High School Library was one of these recipients this year!
The Miss and Little Miss Charger Pageant forms are due tomorrow (1/21) with the $25 entry fee. Fan favorite bags will be available for parents or students to pick up at all school offices by Wednesday. Pageant practice for the Miss Charger Pageant is Wednesday, January 29th, and practice for the Little Miss Charger Pageant is Thursday, January 30th. Both practices are at the Ty Cobb Auditorium at 3:30. Fan favorite bags need to be turned in on the day of pageant practice.
