Choctaw County High School Seniors, Ella Power and Kate Beard, shadowed Mrs. Anna Stackhouse (labor/delivery/postpartum nurse) at Baptist in Jackson, MS. Ella and Kate experienced a true shift and shadowed a full 12 hours. While shadowing they were able to check vital signs on mothers and babies, give a baby a bath, and change bedding. They worked so hard the only picture they took was while resting for a minute. Ella and Kate loved this shadowing experience and cannot wait to become nurses.

Choctaw County High School Seniors enjoyed a visit from Mr. Banks and his colleagues with the MSU Extension Offices. Each CCR class participated in the "Real World Simulation" to learn about making good choices. The seniors were shocked to learn how much childcare, insurance, housing, groceries, and many other expenses are. Today was a fun learning experience for them.
